GIVE PAWS A VOICE! - STRAY ANIMAL CARE PROJECT
Give paws a voice! is a project aiming to encourage care for stray animals, ie. sensitizing students and the local community to care for abandoned animals, as well as changing attitudes and behavior towards their own pets in order to reduce the number of abandoned animals and through volunteer and humanitarian engagement of students and their loved ones dealing with abandoned animals. It implements in yearly cycles that begins and ends with the school year.
The project encourages personal and social development of students by actively involving them in activities related to the improvement of the quality of life of civil society through the care of abandoned animals and assistance to associations that care for these animals. Students are actively involved in solving social problems by voluntarily participating in socially useful work, influencing the attitude of their friends and relatives, and thus the local community towards animals. The development of entrepreneurial and communication skills is encouraged, students are developing financial, information and digital literacy, creativity and problem-solving ability. Associations are easier to deal with the burden of caring for abandoned animals, the local community has lower costs of caring for abandoned animals.
